It applies only to our own website and to communications directed to us.
Please read this policy before submitting the contact form. Using the Site or contacting us link constitutes notice of the practices described here.

2. Notice at collection — summary
We collect the categories of personal information listed below. We use them to respond to you, perform and invoice studio services, operate and improve the Site, process voluntary payments, and meet legal duties. We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
3. Categories of information we collect
3.1 Information you choose to give us
Contact form, email, telephone, mail, or mailing-list signup:
- Identifiers: name, company name, email address, telephone number, mailing or business address if you provide one.
- Professional and commercial information: project description, budget or timeline notes, URLs, files you attach, and the content of your message.
- Communications records: emails, call notes, and later correspondence about an inquiry or project.
We do not require an account to browse the Site. We do not ask visitors to create a public user profile.
3.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our host and security tools may record:
- IP address and coarse location derived from it.
- Browser, device type, operating system, and language.
- Date and time of the request, pages requested, referring URL, and diagnostic data needed to operate and secure the Site.
3.3 Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC (“Google”), to measure how the Site is used. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect:
- Pages viewed, time on page, scroll and click events, and referral source.
- Device, browser, and operating-system information.
- A persistent client identifier stored in first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<property-id>.
- Approximate geography derived from IP address. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses after that lookup.
We use this information in aggregate and in standard Analytics reports to understand which content is useful and to improve the Site. We do not use Google Analytics to serve third-party ads on other sites, and we do not intend to enable Google Signals or Google Analytics advertising features. If that configuration changes, we will update this policy. Google Analytics is classified as an analytics cookie in CookieYes and should load only after you accept that category.

3.4 CookieYes (consent banner)
We use CookieYes, provided by CookieYes Limited, to display a cookie banner, record your cookie choices, and help prevent non-essential cookies from loading until you accept the relevant category.
CookieYes may process:
- Your consent decision (accept all, reject all, or selected categories) and the date and time of that decision.
- A consent identifier stored in a necessary cookie (typically cookieyes-consent).
- A masked or truncated IP address, approximate country, and browser or device information used to keep a consent log.
CookieYes states that it does not collect names or email addresses from Site visitors and that it uses this data only to provide the consent-management service. Consent records are kept while our CookieYes account remains active, unless we delete a log sooner.
CookieYes privacy information: https://www.cookieyes.com/privacy-policy/.
3.5 accessiBe accessibility widget
We use accessWidget from accessiBe Ltd. (“accessiBe”) as a toolbar that visitors can use to adjust contrast, text size, keyboard focus, and similar display settings. The widget is a supplement and is designed to make the Site fully conform to WCAG.
When the widget loads or is used, accessiBe may process:
- IP address and the page URL.
- Accessibility preferences selected in the widget (for example, a contrast or text-size profile).
- Technical information needed to render remediations, such as page structure sent to accessiBe’s servers.
AccessiBe’s notice states that, for end-user data of this kind, accessiBe acts as a processor on the site owner’s behalf. We do not use widget data to advertise to you. You do not have to open the widget to use the Site.
accessiBe privacy notice: https://accessibe.com/privacy-notice.
3.6 Embedded YouTube content
The Site includes or may include embedded YouTube videos. An embed loads content from Google as if you visited YouTube. Google may set cookies, collect device and watch data, and associate the view with a Google account if you are logged in.
Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. YouTube’s embedded-player terms apply to playback.
3.7 Other processors that may receive data
Depending on configuration, the following categories of vendors may process information on our behalf or as independent operators of their own services:
- Website hosting, content delivery, DNS, backups, and firewall or bot-protection providers.
- Contact-form and email delivery providers.
- Google, for Analytics and YouTube.
- CookieYes Limited, for the consent banner and consent log.
- accessiBe Ltd., for the optional accessibility widget.
- Font, map, or social-plugin providers if those resources are loaded from a third-party domain.
We do not sell information to data brokers.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. The Site uses the following types:
You can delete or block cookies in your browser. Blocking analytics or media cookies may limit replay features or video playback. Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not consistently honored across the industry; we do not currently respond to them as a substitute for the controls above.
5. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to inquiries and prepare proposals.
- Perform bike service and sales.
- Send information you asked for, including correspondence and, if you opted in, occasional industry news. You may unsubscribe from marketing email at any time.
- Operate, secure, debug, and improve the Site, including through Google Analytics, CookieYes, and the accessiBe widget.
- Detect fraud, spam, and abuse.
- Comply with law, keep tax and accounting records, and enforce our Terms of Use.
We do not use contact-form contents to retarget you on third-party advertising networks.
6. How we disclose information
We disclose personal information only as follows:
- Service providers. Hosting, email, analytics, consent-banner, accessibility-widget, and payment vendors that process data so we can run the Site and the studio. Square, Google, CookieYes, and accessiBe also operate under their own notices when you use their interfaces.
- Professional advisors. Accountants, insurers, and lawyers, when reasonably necessary.
- Legal and safety. When we believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or a lawful government request, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
- Business transfer. If we sell or reorganize the studio, information may transfer as part of that transaction.
- At your direction. If you ask us to send information to a printer, host, contractor, or other third party on a project.
Sale and sharing
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are used in California law. We do not use Google Analytics advertising features or Google Signals. If that configuration changes, we will update this policy and, where required, post a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link.
7. Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including:
- Inquiry and project files: for the relationship and a reasonable period afterward for continuity, support, insurance, tax, and legal records.
- Mailing-list addresses: until you unsubscribe or we close the list.
- Server logs: a short operational period unless needed for security review.
- Google Analytics: according to the retention setting in our Analytics account (often 2–26 months).
- CookieYes consent logs: for the life of our CookieYes account unless we delete a record sooner.
- accessiBe widget technical data: according to accessiBe’s retention practices as our processor.
When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it, except where a legal hold applies.
8. Security
The Site is served over HTTPS. Access to inquiry, project, and payment-reconciliation records is limited to people who need it for their work. Do not send full card numbers, bank passwords, Social Security numbers, or health information through the public contact form.

You may:
- Decline to submit a form, join a list, or use the Square payment link.

- Use the CookieYes banner to accept, reject, or change cookie categories. You can reopen cookie settings from the banner or cookie icon.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser.
- Install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Ignore the accessiBe widget. It is optional.
- Ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, subject to legal retention duties.
Send requests to allprobicycles@gmail.com or call (805) 583-4296. We may need to verify that we are speaking with the right person. We will respond within a reasonable time.
California residents. The California Online Privacy Protection Act requires this policy. Depending on whether we meet a statutory threshold at a given time, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended) may also provide rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing, and to designate an authorized agent. We do not sell or share personal information as described in Section 6. We will not deny goods or services, charge a different price, or provide a different quality because you exercised a privacy right, except as a law allows. If a later law or a change in our size brings us fully under the CCPA, we will honor those statutory timelines and methods.
Residents of other states. Several U.S. states give consumers rights to access, delete, or opt out of targeted advertising. We will consider those requests in good faith even if a particular statute does not apply to a studio of our size.
Visitors outside the United States. The Site and our vendors are operated in the United States. If you contact us or pay us from another country, your information will be processed in the United States.
10. Children
The Site is intended for business customers and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Links
The Site may link to client work, social profiles, vendor sites, and payment pages hosted by Square. Those properties have their own practices. This policy does not govern them.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes will be posted on this page. If we begin selling or sharing personal information, or we add a new tracking vendor that materially changes collection, we will revise this policy before or at the time that change goes live.
